Thank you, thank you, thank you for starting you VR effort. I can't imagine another content producer that I'd like to see make the step into VR rather than you guys. You featured an HTC Vive in the post. Are you planning on doing anything advanced (room scale) or just 3D 180/360 degree video? Maybe it goes without saying, but I am now going to sign up on your Patreon page. Please make your VR team a permanent one. This is the future, and you are the bleeding edge.

VR and FOW
To answer all the questions we get about VR I thought I’d make a quick post.
Yes, StudioFOW will be developing VR content in the near future. This is a very exciting boat - one that we don’t want to miss - therefore I will be putting together a dev team very soon for the specific purpose of developing VR porn.
We will be making the dev team a Patreon milestone, it’s the milestone after the current Motoko one, in fact. Once that milestone is hit and demand is confirmed, we will begin crafting a small stereoscopic proof-of-concept project that EVERYONE will be able to try out for free. We will need community feedback on this project to refine it, and we’ll go on from there.
This will not affect the regular schedule, all 2D movies are still going ahead simultaneously.
Note that this project will NOT be in Source engine, we will be moving over to a more advanced platform from this. Whilst our Source Engine 2D stuff is OK, I would consider it to be about 25% of the potential we are capable of. This VR project in the new engine will be closer to 50% of the potential we’re capable of.
